The 23rd Annual Day festivity of JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar was celebrated on 28-12-13 under the theme ‘A tribute to our cultural tapestry’.

Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Commissioner, Department of Archeology Museum & Heritage, Mysore presided over the function and Rtn. G.K. Balakrishnan, Past District Governor, R.I. Dist. 3180 delivered the valedictory address. Shri. S.P. Manjunath, Deputy Secretary -1, JSS Mahavidyapeetha graced the occasion.

The Chief Guests emphasized that students should be dedicated and determined to reap success. Public schools are the training grounds for building the character of students.

The ecstatic jubilation commenced with a devout rendition on the almighty. The audience was ushered into a fascinating world of mime, music and dance illumining our prestine cultural wealth. A synthesis of different dance styles, Jatra Festival, Shiva Thandava and grand finale were some of the marvels of the carnival. The sublime ideals of our culture were epitomized through a spectacular show on benevolence of mother, piety, righteousness concern for the differently abled, national feeling, conservation of mother earth and so on. The inseparable combination of India and its cultural, acting as a model and becon light to the entire world was picturised by the ensemble of music and dance.

Principal Mrs. B. Latha presented the school Annual Report. The thematic jubilation was anchored by Gaggan Caverappa, Shaashwath and Aishwarya of X Standard. The school captain Meenakshi V. Patel of X std welcomed the gathering. Dhanyatha Dravya Chiranth, Namitha and Siddarth of X standard read the various reports of the school. Shreya Ranka of X standard proposed a vote of thanks.
