NCC Unit and Scouts & Guides Unit

The NCC Unit was established in the academic year 2023–2024 with the primary objective of instilling discipline, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of responsibility among students. The unit aims to develop character, unity, patriotism, self-confidence, and a spirit of selfless service, while nurturing respect for the nation. Through systematic training, regular drills, parades, camps, and participation in social and community service activities, students imbibe values such as teamwork, punctuality, integrity, and commitment. The NCC programme emphasizes physical fitness, mental alertness, and moral strength, enabling students to face challenges with confidence and resilience.

Complementing this, the Scouts and Guides Unit plays a vital role in the holistic development of students by promoting service to others, self-discipline, cooperation, and leadership. The unit encourages students to live by the Scout Promise and Law, fostering qualities such as honesty, responsibility, compassion, and respect for nature. Through activities like community service, cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, camping, and skill-based training, students develop practical life skills, a spirit of adventure, and a sense of social responsibility.

Together, the NCC Unit and Scouts & Guides Unit actively encourage student participation in national celebrations, awareness campaigns, service initiatives, and community outreach programmes. These units significantly contribute to moulding students into disciplined, confident, socially conscious, and responsible citizens, well prepared to contribute meaningfully to the progress, unity, and integrity of the nation.
